Job summary

Life Help is a regional community mental health center dedicated to helping people through compassionate care. This entry-level position offers opportunities for growth within a diverse clinical team and requires a high school diploma and a valid Mississippi driver's license.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, support patients in habilitation goals, and participate in recreational activities while documentation progress.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Mississippi Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Check and record consumer conditions such as vital signs and weight.
• Administer basic life saving techniques.
• Perform or assist in activities of daily living including bathing, shaving, washing clothes and brushing teeth.
• Write nontechnical reports documenting patient behavior, activity, and progress towards habilitation/treatment plan goals.
• Direct and participate in recreational and social activities for consumers per habilitation plans.
• Accompany consumers to needed services outside the facility.
• Assist in upkeep of the facility through limited cleaning, laundering, and maintenance tasks.
