Job summary

Prestige Senior Living in Canby, Oregon seeks a Medication Technician to provide medication services and direct resident care, including daily living assistance, housekeeping, and laundry. The role supports residents with dignity and independence while maintaining a positive environment.

The technician will manage the medication room, process orders, document treatments, coordinate with pharmacies, and communicate changes to the Health Services Director and family as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years personal care experience with older adults; state requirements may apply.
• State medication pass certification or equivalent; complete delegated trainings.
• CPR certification, First Aid, and Food Handlers permit required.
• Word processing skills required.
• Complete all state required trainings as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate medication room and services per Health Services Director and physician orders.
• Process physician orders in accordance with state regulations and nurse practice act.
• Administer and assist with self-administration of medications as directed.
• Complete simple treatments and monitor residents as directed by HSD.
• Maintain accurate medication/treatment records in residents' charts.
• Coordinate with pharmacies for orders and refills.
• Report medication errors and changes in resident condition as needed.
