Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents in a caring, standards-based environment. The role includes direct personal care, promoting resident participation in activities, and coordinating with nursing, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, coordinating with pharmacies, tracking changes, and maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with medications in a RCFE or similar setting preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with residents, families, and staff.
• Must pass a background check and health screening including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physicians.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with colleagues.
