Job summary

Hopscotch Primary Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced primary care clinic. The role focuses on welcoming patients, taking vitals, and performing phlebotomy and basic lab work while providing a compassionate, personal patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Relevant Medical Assistant clinical or externship experience required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Comfort using EMR systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and rooming patients.
• Taking vitals and updating medical histories.
• Performing phlebotomy and basic lab work.
• Administering vaccines and screenings (within certification).
• Coordinating follow-up care, referrals, and diagnostics.
• Answering patient questions and providing phone support.
• Preparing and stocking exam rooms.
• Supporting a clean, safe clinic environment.
