Job summary

VIPcare is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support under a physician, PA, or APRN. You will prepare patients, document visits, and assist with procedures within state regulations.

Responsibilities include patient care, immunizations, phlebotomy, and coordinating care transitions in a value-based Medicare Advantage environment. Excellent communication and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA certification preferred or required where applicable.
• Experience with EMRs and HIPAA compliance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support under physician supervision.
• Document patient encounters and vital signs in the EMR accurately.
• Assist with examinations, injections, phlebotomy, and in-office procedures.
• Coordinate prescriptions, referrals, and patient communications efficiently.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and prepare exam rooms.
