Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a caregiver to provide personal care to patients under the supervision of licensed personnel and an Administrative Coordinator. You will perform direct patient care, assist in procedures, and support patient safety while handling clerical tasks to support unit operations.

Minimum qualifications include an approved nursing or medical assistant program and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Approved nursing or medical assistant course and/or on the job training.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care duties under the direction of licensed personnel and physician.
• Assists in the performance of procedures for the patient population served in a manner that is consistent with established policies and procedures.
• Provides for patient safety.
• Performs clerical tasks and related duties.
• Completes assigned goals.
