Job summary

PartnerCare is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to join our pain management team. Responsibilities include preparing patients for visits, assisting clinicians during appointments, and maintaining clean, stocked examination rooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistant program is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Experience in pain management or specialty care is preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience with C-arm fluoroscopy and knowledge of procedures including RFA and SI joint injections is preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and welcoming patient experience and prepare patient information for the visit.
• Assist with medical appointments as instructed by the provider.
• Clean, prepare, and stock exam rooms.
• Communicate with patients and other providers about care as instructed by the provider.
• Document accurately about the visit in the electronic medical record.
