Job summary

Mercy seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and office staff in outpatient clinical care. You will perform patient care activities, maintain clinical documentation, and engage with patients and families in a caring, professional manner.

Requirements include a high school diploma, MA Clinic Academy training, active MA certification, and BLS. Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and comfort with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must actively maintain MA certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and office staff with patient care activities.
• Communicate with patients, families, visitors and co-workers in a caring, professional manner.
