Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Medical Assistant for the OBGYN Clinic. You will support providers with direct and indirect patient care, document accurately, and assist with clinical procedures while maintaining a courteous, efficient environment.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma, MA Clinic Academy training, BLS, and at least one year of outpatient experience. You will work in a fast-paced outpatient setting with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Current Medical Assistants aiming for Advanced Medical Assistant title must complete MA competencies.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• One year of applicable patient care experience in outpatient/ambulatory care.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for Hospital Outpatient Departments is preferred.
