Job summary

Mercy Clinic Lowell is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and the care team in an outpatient setting. You will perform patient care activities in line with Mercy's standards and participate in clinic operations during a typical 8:00a–5:00p schedule, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, training through an MA program or clinic academy, and at least one year of outpatient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• One year of experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician and office staff with patient care activities.
• Communicate with patients, families, and co-workers in a caring, professional manner.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and use of EHR systems.
