Job summary

Dartmouth Health in Keene, NH seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient management and ensure smooth flow under supervision. You will review schedules, update EMR, perform medication reconciliation, and assist with pre-certification and scheduling.

The position requires current MA certification through NHA, AAMA or AMT with CPR certification, maintained throughout employment, plus strong communication and organizational skills. Full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification through NHA, AAMA or AMT and CPR certification.
• Certification must be maintained for duration of employment.
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to relate well at all levels.
• Medical Assistant Flow—no previous experience required; Medical Assistant Flow/Phones requires a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient management and flow under supervision.
• Review medical records to verify current lab, x-ray or procedure reports and fill forms for appointment.
• Perform required EMR tasks including medication reconciliation and updating medical history.
• Schedule appointments, order entry, and manage task lists; pre-certification for tests and procedures.
