Job summary

ClareMedica Health Group is seeking a Medical Assistant in Miami, FL to provide ancillary clinical support for clinic providers. You will assist with patient examinations, vital signs, specimen collection, and patient education, ensuring efficient workflow and compassionate care.

The role emphasizes OSHA/HIPAA compliance, accurate documentation, and teamwork across the clinic. Some travel within the region may be required, with strong emphasis on patient advocacy and quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or related role, or clinical rotation training accepted.
• CPR for Health Care workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support preferred.
• HIPAA regulations compliance and patient confidentiality are required.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
• English reading/writing proficient; bilingual a plus.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records patient vital signs and medical history.
• Assist providers with patient examinations, therapeutic measures and procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests.
• Monitor and record physiological measurements.
• Provide treatment per protocols and coordinate care.
• Coordinate radiographic and laboratory studies as directed by the PCP.
