Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care in an ambulatory clinic. The role involves assisting clinicians, gathering relevant visit information, and communicating with patients both in person and by phone.

You will support the clinical team, ensure high-quality patient care, and uphold privacy protections. The position is located at the Riverton clinic with a 40-hour work week and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or one year of Medical Assistant Experience or a current RN/LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing Patient Care under the direction of the Clinician and assisting the provider with information relative to the visit.
• Effective Communication with patients via telephone and in-person interactions.
• Team Collaboration with cross functional teams on patient care.
• Attention to detail and follow-through in delivering care.
