Job summary

Saint Francis Medical Partners seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in daily office operations, ensure smooth patient flow, and provide education during visits. Responsibilities include triage, vitals, and documentation, with EKG and phlebotomy duties as applicable.

The role requires an accredited Medical Assisting program or 3 years of related healthcare experience, and a current BLS certification. Sign-on bonus applies to new hires within the network.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assisting Program or 3 years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Evidence of competency in patient care, triage and vital signs.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with daily medical office operations.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with exams, procedures and patient education.
• Perform triage and monitor and record vitals of visiting patients.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as applicable.
• Ensure medical documentation of office visits.
• Maintain courteous, friendly interactions with patients and staff.
