Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate and timely distribution and documentation of medication for residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and plan of care.
• Supervise and care for residents daily according to needs.
• Aid with activities of daily living.
• Assistance with bathing, shower, and shampoo if necessary.
• Help with dressing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair and nails.
• Observe and document resident self-administration of medications.
• Report refusals or reactions to supervisor on duty.
• Direct residents and family to appropriate staff for needs.
• Order meal trays for residents when needed.
• Record observations in daily logbook and communicate changes to next shift.
• Implement personal care plans for each resident.
• Provide patient, clear communication; refer to director as needed.
• Provide assistance in dining room as needed.
• Administer medication as directed by supervisor.
• Answer emergency calls promptly and complete paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms.
• Assist in evacuation during emergencies.
• Perform other duties as required.
