Job summary

Novant Health Matthews Medical Center in Matthews, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit. You will provide expert, compassionate care to a diverse patient population, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate an individualized care plan.

The 40-bed unit handles a range of medical conditions, including post-cardiac catheterization recovery, stroke, COPD, and kidney disease.

Qualifications

• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care on the Medical-Surgical Unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to implement and evaluate care plans.
• Foster a safe patient environment and uphold First Do No Harm principles.
