Job summary

Northrise Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, service, and cleanup for residents and staff. The role emphasizes teamwork with the food service director and adherence to center procedures.

You will assist cooks, prepare nourishments and desserts, follow production sheets, and help maintain safety and sanitation standards in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate
