Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic mammography imaging, ensure patient and staff safety, and maintain high-quality image standards. The role requires operating mammography equipment, communicating clearly with patients and healthcare teams, and adhering to regulatory and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates graduate from an accredited imaging program with clinical hours; ARRT registry or eligibility is required with a plan to achieve registry within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with required clinical hours.
• ARRT registry must be obtained or registry eligible with plan to achieve within 6 months of eligibility; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging procedures to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate mammography and related imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
