Job summary
Genesis HealthCare System in Kentucky is seeking a Mammography Radiographer to perform routine and diagnostic mammographic exams with efficiency and compassionate care. You will operate imaging equipment, set appropriate factors, evaluate image quality, and assist in wire localization or stereotactic biopsy while following radiation safety policies.
Requirements include ARRT certification in Radiology, board-eligible Mammography, Ohio radiology license, and at least one year of staff
Qualifications
- Must be ARRT-certified in Radiology and mammography board-eligible within 1 year of hire.
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year as a staff radiographer with mammography proficiency.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate mammographic imaging equipment to complete exams.
- Adjust technical factors to produce diagnostic images.
- Evaluate image quality and request additional views if needed.
- Assist in wire localization and stereotactic biopsy procedures.
- Follow radiation safety and specimen handling protocols.
- Support clinical training and patient education as required.
