Riverwood Healthcare Center in Stockton, CA seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide and oversee patient care in a premier nursing facility. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as LVN in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• 2+ years in long-term care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Observation, reporting and charting of patient conditions.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Record temperatures, respiration and pulse.
• Set up treatment trays and instruments.
• Maintain knowledge of patient conditions at all times.
• Review prior shift reports and assign duties to CNAs and other nursing staff.
• Provide accurate handover records to oncoming shift nurses.
• Notify DNS or Administrator of changes in patient condition or problems.
