Job summary

The Staff Pad has partnered with a well-known healthcare organization in Manchester, TN, and we are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Urology clinic.

The LPN will provide high-quality patient care under supervision, perform clinical tasks, documentation, and support administrative functions. Full-Time, Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the State of Tennessee.
• 1+ year of related nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and accurately document patient medical histories.
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
• Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments as directed.
• Enter and maintain patient information in the EHR/computer system.
• Advocate for patients and support their needs and concerns.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Coordinate with insurance companies.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical staff and multiple providers.
• Assist Medical Assistants with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Complete medication prior authorizations (PAs) and follow up as needed.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and respect when interacting with patients and team members.
• Adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage competing demands.
