The Grand Pavilion for Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rockville Centre is seeking a licensed LPN to join our team. This role supports high-quality resident care across shifts and requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State.
• Clinical knowledge of nursing practices and regulatory standards.
• Team player, cooperative with coworkers of all disciplines.
• Able to function under supervision and independently when necessary.
• Able to communicate effectively with physicians, supervisors, staff.
• Able to lead unit in the absence of the Unit Manager.
• Pro-active in resident care and services with thoughtfulness and timeliness.
• Flexible to special staffing or clinical situations.
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality of resident information.
• Maintains control of access to medications.
• Computer literate and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel on a specific shift.
• Communicates and applies policies, practices, procedures, objectives, and goals for excellent resident care.
