Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Day shift in Georgia. The LPN works under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor and/or Practice/Office Manager to assess patients, prepare them for exams, assist during treatments, and document care in the medical record.

This role serves patients across age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, adhering to the NFLPN standards and Wellstar policies.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Experience in ambulatory/outpatient setting preferred.
• Experience in the relevant practice specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as directed by provider.
• Proactively plans for patient care across the care continuum.
• Contributes to financial viability through service quality and clinical excellence.
• May liaise with nursing leadership on clinical operations and quality initiatives.
