Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in the clinical area preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN license valid in the state where employed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within LPN/LVN scope.
• Model customer service expectations and uphold patient safety priorities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to meet patients’ physical and psychosocial needs.
• Provide basic comfort and tailor care to individual needs.
• Apply interventions to progress patients toward wellness and maintain wellness.
• Discuss care with patients and address concerns with supervising staff.
• Communicate therapeutically with patients, visitors and colleagues.
• Safely deliver medications per orders and policies.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and accurate documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
