Job summary

Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation invites applications for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our caring team in Henderson, Kentucky. This full-time role supports a 7am–7pm shift and focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents under established care plans.

You will administer prescribed medications, explain treatments to residents, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. A supportive environment and ongoing staff development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Current State of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure.
• A minimum of 1 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible during the shift for the total nursing care of residents in the assigned unit.
• Assumes responsibility for compliance with Federal, State, Local, and company regulations.
• Explains procedures and treatments and care plan to resident.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Transcribes physician's orders.
• Additional duties as assigned.
