Job summary

Highlands Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. You will provide direct patient care, assist with ADLs, and support rehabilitation and wellness goals.

Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, vital signs, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans. New graduates are welcome; HIPAA guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in the state of Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administration of medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and report patient progress, identifying and addressing any concerns or changes
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatments
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes
