Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse with VA license (or eligibility)
- CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain
- Experience in LTC/SNF preferred; new grads welcome
- Strong clinical judgment and reliability
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards and orders
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support residents' physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
- Assist with resident comfort and safety
- Monitor vital signs, wounds, and catheter care as applicable
- Maintain confidentiality and follow policies and regulations
- Keep medical history and condition records up to date
- Coach and mentor staff as needed
