Job summary

MediLodge at the Shore is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to coordinate and provide nursing care for residents and supervise clinical staff. The role supports flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to a stable, rewarding care environment.

The LPN will document residents' conditions, implement physicians' orders promptly, supervise CNAs, administer medications, and participate in staff orientation and training, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
• Valid CPR certification.
• One year experience in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents resident condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians' orders promptly and accurately.
• Assigns nursing tasks to team members based on resident needs and abilities.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
• Administers medications and treatments and documents per policy.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training.
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely.
