Job summary

Mercy is seeking an LPN to deliver patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals. The caregiver will maintain accountability for patient care and coordinate with other departments to ensure quality treatment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, active LPN licensure in the practice state, and the option for new or experienced LPNs. BLS is required, with ACLS/PALS/PEARS as needed by the department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent education and licensure.
• Demonstrated LPN licensure in the state of practice and ongoing maintenance.
• Experience can be as a new or experienced LPN.
• BLS certification with additional department-recommended certifications such as ACLS, PALS or PEARS.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care under supervision of licensed professionals or RNs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality care and treatment.
