Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care including IV therapy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team and support ancillary staff to deliver high-quality personalized care.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, current LPN license in the state of practice, and BLS. Preferred are dual licenses in Mississippi and Louisiana and IV therapy credentials.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current LPN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Preferred: dual licenses for MS/LA and IV therapy credentials.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the Nursing Process in patient care through data gathering, planning and evaluation.
• Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria for the ages served.
