Job summary

Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beecher, Illinois is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team. You will provide high-quality, individualized care to residents in a warm, supportive environment with opportunities to grow within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include directing nursing assistants, completing admissions/discharges paperwork, administering medications as ordered, and making daily rounds while prioritizing tasks

Qualifications

• Valid Nursing License as required by the state
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Compliance with the state's Health Care Worker Background Check requirements
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our residents and visitors
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants
• Complete required record-keeping for admissions, discharges, and transfers per policy
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician per policy
• Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
