CHS Career Site in MS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver essential nursing care in a clinic setting under supervision of licensed practitioners or RNs. The role involves direct patient care, assisting with procedures, administering meds, and documenting in the EMR.

The LPN collaborates with healthcare providers to support care plans, educates patients, and ensures a safe, sanitized clinic environment in compliance with HIPAA policies. 0-2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in direct patient care and medication administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication with patients and teams.
• Experience with electronic medical records and documentation.
• Knowledge of infection control and clinic safety standards.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving in patient care.
• Time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient intake, document symptoms, medical history, meds and vitals.
• Administer medications via oral, inhalation, or injections; assist procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic testing like EKGs and basic labs; document results.
• Follow up with patients via portal, calls, and test results per policy.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and preventative care.
• Collaborate with providers to support patient care plans and privacy compliance.
