Job summary

Wellstar Health System is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day shift in Georgia. You’ll work under physician, nurse supervisor and office manager directions, providing direct patient care and assisting with exams, treatments and follow-up care.

You will coordinate tests, document care in medical records and educate patients and families, serving diverse ages from neonate to geriatric. A current Georgia LPN license and BLS are required before hire.

Qualifications

• LPN license in Georgia with current BLS prior to hire.
• High school diploma or GED with nursing certificate.
• Ambulatory/outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as directed by a provider.
• Assist with pre-visit planning, exams, treatments and follow-up care.
• Coordinate tests, documentation and patient education.
