Job summary

LCAP's Meals on Wheels program seeks a reliable delivery driver to serve our community. You will deliver meals, maintain route logs and daily reports, and assist in packing hot and cold items.

You will record temperatures, keep vehicles clean, and follow agency guidelines while providing compassionate service to the elderly and disabled. A valid Ohio driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Empathy for the elderly, impoverished and disabled.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain good health.
• Clean personal hygiene and dependable transportation.
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home-delivered meals and transport to recipients; complete route list and daily report.
• Assist in kitchen with packaging of hot and cold items.
• Record meal temperatures with an electronic thermometer.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and in good condition.
• Adhere to Meals on Wheels mission and guidelines.
