Job summary

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking compassionate Live-In Caregivers to provide around-the-clock support for clients in their own homes. You will live in the client’s home during scheduled assignments and assist with daily needs while taking designated meal and sleep breaks in compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Our caregivers promote independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life, while reporting concerns and maintaining a safe, clean living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required—we provide training.
• Current TB testing (or willingness to obtain one during onboarding).
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 supervision and companionship during scheduled live-in assignments.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, change bed linens, safety).
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration).
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community outings when applicable.
• Monitor changes in condition and report concerns to the office.
• Accurately document care provided according to company policy.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for each client's home.
