Job summary

All Hands Home Care, LLC is seeking a Short-Term Live-In Caregiver (CNA or HHA) for a private home in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role emphasizes continuous in-home support and companionship, with emphasis on safety, comfort, and independence for the client.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification preferred/required based on client needs.
• 1+ year of caregiving experience preferred.
• In-home or live-in care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow a care plan and communicate effectively with clients, families, and care team.”

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meals
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with safe ambulation, transfers, and positioning as needed
• Support the client with daily routines and personal care needs
• Prepare meals and assist with appropriate nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Monitor the client and communicate any changes in condition or needs to the appropriate family member or agency representative
• Provide medication reminders as permitted within the scope of the caregiver role
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records
• Respect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
• Follow all All Hands Home Care policies, procedures, and care plans
• Communicate professionally and effectively with the client, family, and care team
