Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, and facility laundry according to procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently while following infection prevention and safety guidelines.
• Ensure resident clothing and linens are clean, properly labeled, and returned promptly to the appropriate areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and handle soiled items correctly.
• Follow schedules and task lists to support daily operations and meet facility needs.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to support resident comfort and facility cleanliness.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, and team members to foster a positive environment.
