Northway Health and Rehabilitation LLC is seeking a compassionate Laundry Assistant to support our residents by managing clothing and linens with attention to cleanliness and safety. This role reports to the Director of Housekeeping and plays a key part in resident comfort and care.

Qualifications include English proficiency and a preference for laundry experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, respect for residents, and adherence to facility policies and infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform laundry duties according to established daily schedules.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Operate washers and dryers following safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Identify and return laundry to the correct resident.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control in the laundry area.
