Job summary

Elan Westpointe, located in New Braunfels, TX, seeks a Community UtilityAssociate to perform a variety of food service duties and maintain sanitary kitchen areas. You will wash dishes, pots, pans, and manage food storage and cleaning tasks while supporting a respectful, caring team environment.

The role supports residents and staff, may involve some food prep, and requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work Sunday to Thursday from 11AM to 7PM in a community focused on

Qualifications

• Some kitchen experience is desirable.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Must have organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots and pans; clean kitchen and equipment; handle storage and rotation of food and supplies; remove garbage and keep floors clean after meals.
• Maintain kitchen and other assigned areas in sanitary condition.
• Follow posted work schedule and arrive on time and in appropriate attire.
• Operate kitchen appliances such as garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker, and ice machine.
• Assist with food preparation, inventory, and stocking shelves as needed.
