Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work.
• Previous infant care experience required.
• Reliability is essential.
• Strong communication skills and attentiveness.
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
• Clean background check and professional childcare references (no family or friend references).
• Ability to safely lift and carry an infant and get on the floor to play.
• Non-Smoker.

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants and young children.
• Supporting early milestones such as tummy time, sensory play, reading, and structured activities.
• Maintaining feeding and nap routines based on each child’s cues and schedule.
• Preparing bottles, sanitizing feeding equipment, and assisting with transitions such as solids when age-appropriate.
• Keeping children upright after feedings when needed and monitoring overall well-being.
• Engaging children without screen time through crafts, reading, outdoor walks, and creative play.
• Children’s laundry, tidying play areas and nurseries, and keeping child-related spaces organized.
• Light household support related to the children (e.g., kitchen cleanup after meals, dishwasher unloading when applicable).
• Occasional local errands related to the children or family needs.
• Communicating clearly with parents regarding routines, activities, and any health-related concerns.
