Job summary

Visiting Angels of Brighton is hiring In Home Health Aides to enrich clients' lives across the local area. You will provide personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship in clients' homes.

We offer flexible schedules including Full Time, Part Time, 8/10/12 hour shifts, and PRN, with benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance, direct deposit, weekly pay, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client homes when scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Willing to comply with state and office health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support light physical activity and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist during shopping trips and errands.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergencies.
