Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to learn new skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping, cooking and providing personal care is welcome.
• Willingness to adhere to health, safety and confidentiality standards.
• Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds and perform job duties physically.
• Compassionate, respectful, and supportive of all persons.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ambulation, dressing, personal care, hygiene, eating).
• Help with mobility around the house and accompany to appointments or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with serving/eating when needed.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them for errands.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as required.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion and report incidents to the office.
