Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare is seeking in-home caregivers in DuPage County, IL, to provide attentive, compassionate support for elderly clients. Roles include hourly and live-in options, with emphasis on maintaining independence and quality of life for clients at home.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification is preferred. Prior caregiving experience, especially with seniors, is valued, as is reliable, independent work and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in caregiving, especially with elderly clients, preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene and companionship; support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal prep and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive and supportive home environment.
