Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate in-home care.
• Knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Housekeeping and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Willingness to follow health and safety standards.

• Good time management and strong communication.
• Demonstrates ethics and professional conduct.
• Physical endurance for home-based tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the home or to appointments.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties the client cannot complete.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
