Visiting Angels Birmingham is seeking compassionate In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper to assist seniors in the Northern Birmingham area. You will provide companionship, help with daily routines, and support mobility and transportation needs in clients’ homes.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, personal care, and a friendly presence. Training in dementia or Alzheimer's care may be offered for skill development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ethics, compassion, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication as directed.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility, and transportation.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Perform light housekeeping and shopping assistance.
• Be a friendly, supportive companion and report incidents.
