Senior Helpers San Luis Obispo County is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to deliver in-home care, companionship, and daily task support for seniors in the San Luis Obispo Country Club Community.

The role includes responsibilities for memory care and supporting mental health, with mandatory English proficiency, a valid driver's license, and a registered Home Care Aide with Live Scan. Paid training, TB testing, and travel reimbursements are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write, and speak English at an average adult level.
• Must have a working smartphone (PAID biweekly reimbursement).
• Driving is an essential function; must safely operate a motor vehicle for client errands.
• Maintain a valid driver's license, an acceptable MERC/MVR, access to reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Complete the CDSS-required Home Care Aide registration and Live Scan fingerprinting.

Aufgaben

• Companion Care: companionship, activities, hydration and nutrition reminders, light housekeeping, shopping and errands, meal prep, laundry, med reminders, rides to errands and appointments.
• Memory Care: monitor and report changes in mental health status, care needs beyond companion duties.
• Support client’s mental health needs: monitor and report changes in mental health status and care needs for a client with bipolar disorder.
