Visiting Angels Athens seeks compassionate At Home Caregivers to support seniors in the Athens area, including Monroe. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help with meals and mobility. Training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care is offered to advance your skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide mobility assistance and accompany clients to appointments

• Support routine exercises and activity planning
• Prepare meals with clients when possible
• Run errands or accompany clients during shopping
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain a safe home
• Offer friendly companionship and emotional support
• Report any unusual incidents promptly

At Home Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
