Zusammenfassung

We are seeking a kind, dependable, and attentive caregiver to provide one-on-one care for an adult woman in her private home in Lake Forest. The role involves full daily care, including safe transfers with a Hoyer lift, personal hygiene, meals, and companionship. Training and a flexible part-time schedule are available to fit family needs.

CPR/First Aid is a plus. Prior caregiving or CNA/HHA experience is preferred, and comfort with sensitive, intimate care is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Empathy and patience when providing one-on-one care.
• CPR and First Aid certification are a plus.
• Able to follow established routines and family instructions.
• Comfortable caring for someone fully dependent on daily care.

Aufgaben

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Providing toileting and incontinence care, including changing briefs as needed.
• Assisting with meals and feeding.
• Safely assisting with transfers using a Hoyer lift.
• Helping with repositioning and maintaining comfort throughout the day.
• Following daily care routine and family instructions.
• Assisting with scheduled supplements and other routine care needs as directed.
• Providing companionship and meaningful interaction.
• Putting on movies, TV, music, and other entertainment she enjoys.
• Paying attention to comfort and general well-being during shifts.
• Keeping care areas clean, sanitary, and organized.
• Communicating with the family about her day and concerns.
• Assisting with other reasonable daily care tasks.
