Happy to Help Caregiving in Willoughby, Ohio is seeking reliable in-home caregivers to support clients at home with non-medical care, companionship, and daily living tasks. You will help with personal care, meals, transportation, and maintaining a safe home environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to follow care plans while communicating effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Kind, patient, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor.
• Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement through conversation and activities.
• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to client preferences and care plan instructions, with feeding support if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Provide medication reminders in accordance with the care plan (no handling or administering medications).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of walkers or wheelchairs as needed.
• Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments and errands.
• Offer respite care to give family caregivers a needed break while ensuring continuity of care.
• Document shift activity and communicate changes in client condition to the office.
• Support each client’s independence, daily routines, and overall well-being with professionalism and respect.
