Job summary

Golden Years Home Care is seeking compassionate, HCA-certified caregivers to join our in-home senior care team in California. You will help ensure clients’ safety, health, and well-being in their homes, while tailoring activities for meaningful engagement.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and companionship, with flexibility for full-time, part-time, on-call, and weekend shifts. A valid CA HCA certification is required or can be obtained through us.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18+ years old with at least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Fully vaccinated or exemption accepted.
• TB test or clear X-ray.
• Fingerprint clearance (Live Scan) required.
• CA Home Care Aide (HCA) certification either already held or can be obtained through Golden Years Home Care.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, light housework, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship, assist with errands and shopping.
• Support with incontinence and dementia care, transfers and ADLs.
